1. Sanding: Grind thoroughly with wet sand paper P800, until all yellowings are removed. Then sand fine with wet sand paper 2000.
2. Masking/cleaning: Now dry the sanding water with tissues and afterwards clean with ColorMatic Plastic Cleaner antistatic. May be other cleaner could demage the plastic diffusing screens. Mask the ambient car parts with paper.
3. Priming: The ColorMatic Plastic Primer will be applied in a thin spraying process and gives so the needed adhesion. After 8 to 10 minutes drying time (20° C) the clear coat can be applied.
4. 2K Clear Coat: Before spraying, the second component of the clear coat has to be activated. For this take out the inside ring from the protection cap and insert it into the pin. With the finger through the ring and strongly pull until the catch. Let a complete 360° turn follow. Then shake the spray can vigorously and the 2K clear coat is ready for use. For spraying like a spray gun the enclosed Spraymaster can be used. Now the headlamp will be varnished with 2K clear coat in 1 to 2 spraying processes to high gloss. After approx. 5-6 minutes the clear coat is dust dry and after approx. 7 hours (20°C) hard-dried.
Wear an appropriate respirator (we recommend Type A2/P3).
